Are you starting university again after some time away?
Are you feeling like your academic writing skills are a tad rusty?
Would you like a reminder of key writing conventions at the university level as you start the spring term?
This workshop offers a quick overview of strategies and skills for successful writing, with returning/ transfer/ mature students in mind. It is open to all SFU students.
Educational Goals:
- Gain an understanding of strategies and skills that support successful academic writing;
- Be encouraged to ask questions to demystify expectations around academic writing;
- Reconnect with writing best practices;
- Learn where to find support throughout the writing process.
