Are you working with GIS data in your Criminology research? If so, you might be interested to learn that SFU researchers can now download the ArcGIS Pro Crime Analysis Plugin. This is for use with the ArcGIS platform.

What is the Crime Analysis Plugin?

"With the advent of big data in the past decade, there has been a growing demand for crime analysts to use location technology to help identify patterns as they emerge, establish links, produce insightful reports and provide recommendations for crime prevention.

Crime Analysis is an add-in for ArcGIS Pro that includes new tools to manage data, perform tactical/strategic/investigative analysis and enable information sharing." -- ESRI webpage

What is ArcGIS?

ArcGIS is a GIS application for visualizing, managing, creating, and analyzing geographic data. ArcGIS geographically contextualizes data for the identification and analysis of patterns and relationships. Esri (Environmental Systems Research Institute) is the company that produces ArcGIS.
