I'm happy to support you with your research. The best way to contact me is via email. You may also leave a voicemail on my office phone - I am retrieving voice messages remotely.
One-on-one research consultations are available by email, as well as Zoom, Skype, phone, and in-person.
You may also wish to check out our extensive online research tutorials and subject research guides, including those for Criminology, Psychology, Philosophy, and Legal Information.
For additional research help, our virtual reference service AskAway is open, often with extended evening and weekend hours.
If you are contacting me about a research question, it can be helpful if you include some background detail, such as:
- specific course or program (if applicable),
- research/assignment deadlines,
- what sources you have searched so far (for example: Google Scholar, the library catalogue, specific databases/websites, nothing yet, etc..),
- what kind of information you are hoping to find
No need to provide the above information in extensive detail (unless you wish): a few point-form notes is often enough to get us started.
Please note I aim to respond to emails within one working day. If you require a faster response, or my out-of-office message indicates I am temporarily away from the library, please get in touch with our general research help services.
