Fair Dealing Week is coming this February (February 21 - 25)!
The SFU Library hosted an event to celebrate GIS Day on November 13, 2019, at SFU Harbour Center.
Open Education Week (March 4-8) is being celebrated across the globe this week with a goal to “raise awareness and showcase impact of open education on teaching and learning worldwide.”
“You shouldn’t have to pay a large sum of tuition to have access to basic information,” Melissa Roach says when I ask her what she’d like to change about our academic system. “It just creates layers of mediation between scholars, media and the public, and that disconnect can cause a lot of misunderstanding.”
