Saving records when writing a research essay

Q: It would be very helpful if you could have more than one list of saved records. Working on two or more papers at the same time happens a lot and if you could have a separate list for each paper would be very handy.

A: When you Sign in to the Library Catalogue, you can create a list of Favourites (the pin icon) and use the "Add Labels" feature to organize your list of saved favourites.

Silent study on the 6th floor

Q: The sixth floor at the Bennett Library is supposed to be completely silent, but students regularly talk (or whisper so loudly that it defeats the purpose of whispering). Is there any way to have someone monitor this? Some students may not have a quiet place at home to study, so this is the only place they can get work done. This is the one floor in the entire campus where people should not be talking, so respecting that seems like minimum decency.

Accessing articles for alumni

Q: When I try to access articles from various databases such as JStor, I see this message: 

"Bad Request/Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand./Size of a request header field exceeds server limit."  

Does this mean that my access to some databases has been changed? (I am an alumna.)
