Silent study on the 6th floor
Published by Dipa BaruaQ: The sixth floor at the Bennett Library is supposed to be completely silent, but students regularly talk (or whisper so loudly that it defeats the purpose of whispering). Is there any way to have someone monitor this? Some students may not have a quiet place at home to study, so this is the only place they can get work done. This is the one floor in the entire campus where people should not be talking, so respecting that seems like minimum decency.
A: Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry to hear you are having difficulty finding a silent place to study. If you notice others are being particularly loud in the quiet areas, please notify the staff at the main floor service desk and they will attend.
