Saving records when writing a research essay
Published by Dipa BaruaQ: It would be very helpful if you could have more than one list of saved records. Working on two or more papers at the same time happens a lot and if you could have a separate list for each paper would be very handy.
A: When you Sign in to the Library Catalogue, you can create a list of Favourites (the pin icon) and use the "Add Labels" feature to organize your list of saved favourites.
Then when you view your list of favourites, you can see the label you added, as well as a pencil if you want to add further labels to your list.
Alternatively, if you're saving records from the Catalogue so that you can use them for a reference list or a bibliography later, you might consider using citation management software. The SFU Library supports a freely available one called Zotero. There is an upcoming workshop online on how to use the software as well.
