Join the Student Learning Commons' Spring Soup Circles: Share Soup and Relaxed Conversation

Soup Circle

Throughout the spring semester, will gather around the soup pot and discuss topics related to academic success. Bring your appetite and any questions you have about writing, studying, and English as Additional Language supports.

We will have Peer Educators, Graduate Facilitators, and professional SLC staff available to address any specific or sensitive questions in one-on-one consultations.

What Students Are Saying about the Soup Circles:

It was like sitting in a circle of friends

It is very casual and not scary!

It’s a fun way to learn about SFU and meet new people! It helps build community, especially with the social engagement in the library.

Very welcoming environment. Go if you want inspiration and/or advice
