
Procrastination Awareness Week (PAW) is back for the fifth consecutive year, with the 2025 offering taking place from March 3-7, National Procrastination Week.
PAW is a week-long virtual event in which students from across Canada are invited – free of charge – to connect with each other and take part in the best student support programming that Canadian post-secondary institutions can provide.

The 2025 Procrastination Awareness Week features a keynote talk delivered by SFU PhD student Tiara Cash.
Engaging in rest and rejuvenation practices are pivotal components to finishing the term/semester in a good way. This interactive keynote will focus on reducing stress by centering mindfulness and contemplative practices in our own lives and focusing on the lives of those we care about. I
Tiara Cash was born and raised in Memphis, TN and is currently situated on the unceeded homelands of the Coast Salish People working on her PhD in psychology. She is a Black American & Indigenous (Chahta & Cherokee descendant) queer woman who has worked in many community settings as an accomplice, including: creating workshops and curriculum on JEDI concepts using Equitable Mindfulness*, speaking and coordinating anti-Black racism events, and being present on many advisory committees that support systemically marginalized groups.
