Busy times!
Published by Mark Bodnar
OK, I wasn't actually gone -- certainly not to a warm place with palm trees. I've just been incredibly busy since my last post. Something had to be dropped, and I'm afraid it ended up being my old friend, the BUEC Buzz.
My last post was 314 days ago. That is, by far, my longest break from the Buzz since I started the blog 22 years, 2 months, and 22 days ago. (Seriously, I did the calculations!)

During that 314-day stretch, I...
- Taught 79 classes for a total of 3730 students via an ever-changing mix of online, in-person, synchronous, asynchronous, and "hybrid" approaches.
- Helped 335 faculty members and students with business and economics research questions, many of which involved Zoom meetings, multiple lengthy emails (sorry!), and clunky recorded videos explaining how to navigate complex database interfaces.
- Bought a whack (technical term) of new information resources, and managed to keep other key ones accessible as we lurched back & forth between remote and on-campus instruction.
In any case, I'm back, and I can't wait to share all the cool news about our business & economics resources that I've been bottling up for the last 10 months and 8 days. I'll aim to post more often over the next few months so that I can get you all caught up, but I'll try to keep the posts short(ish) so none of us get overwhelmed.
Talk to you again soon!
Mark
