Factiva is a global news database with full text and same day access to thousands of newspapers, magazines, newswires, blogs, and more. Some highlights for Criminology research include:

1. Subject searching by crime/crime topic: From the search page, open Subject>Political/General News>Crime/Courts and select from the list.

2. Legal Publications source search: From the search page, open Source and select source category by type. Then choose Legal Sources or expand the selection to view specific publications and add them to your search.

3. E.U. case law and Eur-Lex lookup. From the News Pages menu select Factiva Pages and set the dropdown to European Union. You can search case law in the EU Court of Justice and Court of First Instance (Curia) or look up documents in Eur-Lex.

4. Search results filterable by Region/Country. Great for getting international perspectives on crime in the news.
