New to SFU — 8 more INFORMS journals!
Published by Mark BodnarA bit of good news to start off 2024: SFU researchers now have access to 8 additional journals from INFORMS (The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences):
- Strategy Science
- Decision Analysis
- INFORMS Journal on Applied Analytics (formerly: Interfaces)
- INFORMS Journal on Computing
- INFORMS Journal on Data Science
- INFORMS Journal on Optimization
- Service Science
- Transportation Science
These titles are all now available via our A-Z journal list and searchable via our Library Catalogue (sample). Almost all of them are also indexed in our main business article database: Business Source Complete. Until now, we were only able to read articles from most of these titles after they were at least 5-6 years old... and some (e.g., Strategy Science) weren't available here at all!
If INFORMS sounds familiar, that's probably because we already had access to 9 high-profile titles from the same publisher:
- Information Systems Research: ISR
- Informs Transactions on Education ( Open Access)
- Management Science
- Manufacturing & Service Operations Management
- Marketing Science
- Mathematics of Operations Research
- Operations Research
- Organization Science
- Stochastic Systems ( Open Access)
If you are considering submitting a research article to any of these INFORMS journals, you may be interested to learn that the publisher allows you to upload your Author-Accepted Manuscript (AAM) to noncommercial institutional repositories (e.g., SFU's Summit!) immediately after acceptance.
Also note that INFORMS requires all authors to have an Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID). Learn more about ORCID and register for your own ID via this SFU Library page.

P.S.: I came across an interesting bit of info while browsing the publisher's site: "INFORMS is proud to count 32 recipients of the Nobel Prize in Economics as authors, collectively producing 101 articles across six different INFORMS journals."
