Library Access for Non-Students

Q: There was a dirty and very smelly gentleman in the library. His smell was overpowering and his presence made me feel uncomfortable.

A: Thank you for your post regarding the possible homeless person in the library.  It is important to remember that the library is open to all members of the public, and not just the SFU community.

That said, if you feel uncomfortable with the behaviour of another patron you should report it to the Checkout counter on the main floor either in person or via text messaging. One of our staff members will investigate and if need be take remedial action.
