Key Online Resources
Religious statistics for specific countries, states, provinces and specific religious groups. "Statistics for over 4,200 religions, churches, denominations, religious bodies, faith groups, tribes, cultures, movements, ultimate concerns, etc."

Association of Religion Data Archives (ARDA)
Includes statistical data on churches and church membership in the USA, religious professionals, and religious groups (individuals, congregations and denominations).
Contains publicly available statistical data on all countries of the world. Select Religion under the Categories tab.

Statistics Canada
Has a guide to a selection of resources on religion. Please note that information about religion is collected only once every 10 years. Most recent data: Religions in Canada, 2001 Census. Filtered results of statistics on religion from Stats Can.
