World cinema visitors, Thai credit cards, Korean sports nutrition and much, much more... a taste of what's new in Passport GMID

Published by Mark Bodnar

It's been a while since we last highlighted the treasures within our Passport GMID database. We usually describe this resource as being the place to go for...

a) demographic and economic statistics (with forecasts) on every country in the world;

b) data on the sales by volume and value for a wide range of "fast moving consumer goods" in many countries;

c) analysis of consumer markets and trends in major markets around the world; and

d) more producer/production oriented data and analysis on Canadian industries via the Passport Industrial - Canada module.

Passport GMID is so huge that a brief blog post can't really do justice to the range of information available.  Check out this short list of some of the newer content in the database.  Note the various resource types available -- from full industry overviews to datagraphics, videocasts, opinion pieces, and company profiles.
