Maptime Mapping Summer End Meetup

Map of Devastating 2003 Heat Wave in the Netherlands Observed from MODIS Satellite. Mehdi Aminipouri (PhD Candidate in Geography at SFU)

If you love maps, or wonder how you can flex your computer science muscles to make interactive maps, or you don't know anything about coding but would love to know more about open source mapping, this Maptime YVR meetup would be a right place for you.

Wonder what is Maptime? Here is an excerpt from its website:

"Maptime is an open learning environment for all levels and degrees of knowledge, offering intentional educational support for the beginner. Maptime is simultaneously flexible and structured, creating space for mapping tutorials, workshops, ongoing projects with a shared goal, and independent/collaborative work time. Beginners most welcome!"
