Q. I was helping a student on AskAway today who was trying to access an e-resource without success. Perhaps it's a temporary issue, but I thought I should let someone know that the link for the dataset found here isn't working.
Q. I am a faculty member trying to access this article in the system. It is supposed to be available to SFU but is behind a paywall. Can you fix this and/or send it to me?

Q. Bookmarklet is not working. When I try to use the Library Bookmarklet to get access to research journals off campus it doesn't load for a long time and then tells me that my username or password is
incorrect. But both my username and password still get me into my SFU mail and goSFU etc.
Q. The library catalog says that "Foundations and Trends in Finance" electronic journal is available until 2013, volume: 7 issue: 4. I tried to download any issue, before and after this date, but received an error message, "You do not have access to this journal. For subscription options, please send an e-mail to journal.admin@nowpublishers.com". Could you please verify the subscription rights?
Q. The new interface is much harder to use than the old. There should be an easy way to limit searches to books only. If I want to get articles, I will use Google or Web of Science.
Q. I have invested in $35 charge for 4 month access to SFU library materials. Several of the books recommended in history class are not available in hard book form, which I could sign out to read anywhere, but are available only as "full text online", which I can't access with my current library status. I can appreciate the library is shifting more and more to digital access which is likely cheaper and provides more variety. But I feel that over time this disadvantages subscribers like me.
Q. The new system for finding references in the library is much worse than the previous system. There are a number of issues that make it very difficult and sometimes nearly impossible to use the new system.
1. The advanced search does not allow for searches prior to 20 years ago, when in fact many of us are searching for earlier references. AND it is really frustrating that you cannot just put in a specific date - in the past, this has been the only way I've found a particular reference.
Q. I graduated in 2015 and my email account is going to be shut down this month. I assume my library privileges will also change. I like the online databases for articles, and I have to sign in with that
email ID to access those. I know I can borrow books with my alumni card (from my earlier degree, even), but is there anything I can do to maintain the journal database access?
Q: I tried to access an article in the latest issue of American Antiquity by Lepofsky et al. [Lepofsky, D. et al. 2015. "Ancient shellfish mariculture on the Northwest Coast of North America." American Antiquity 80:236-59.], but when I went to the e-version of American Antiquity that the library provides access to, everything in the issue seemed to be available EXCEPT pp. 236-59 which simply seemed to be missing. Can you help clarify what is up and how I can get access to this article online?
