Unable to access library database using Chrome

Published by Dipa Barua

Q. For the last couple of days, I have not been able to access library databases and catalogue through Chrome (seems to work on MS Edge and Safari). I get an "Error 400 - This page is not working" using the one search and if I try to go directly to databases or the catalogue. Not sure if this is my setup but it had been working fine previously. When I try logging in with my password and username, I get "Bad Request. Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit." Again, not sure if this is a problem with my Chrome but rebooting didn't seem to change things.

A. Can you please clear your cache and cookies in Chrome and try again?  https://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache

If the issue persists, can you let us know what version of Chrome you are using?  Go to: Settings >> About Chrome, to find this information.
