About the workshop
Building on our two previous Python workshops (Introduction to Python - basic concepts and data structures and Introduction to scientific Python - numpy, pandas, xarrays), we will look at various packages to do simple plotting and data visualization in Python. In the hands-on part, we will focus on matplotlib which is a well-established Python plotting library for for creating static and animated visualizations in Python.
Requirements
Setup & Software Installation
This will be a hands-on workshop, so participants need to bring a laptop with Python installed on your device, along with matplotlib and numpy libraries.
Prerequisite
Have previously attended the Introduction to Python (basic concepts and data structures) workshop and Introduction to scientific Python (numpy, pandas, xarrays) or equivalent.
