Introducing FRDR's External Dataset Review!

The Federated Research Data Repository (FRDR) has just released an exciting new feature which allows researchers to selectively share published datasets with journal editors, reviewers, and colleagues ahead of public release.

Now, depositors will have the ability to opt in for external review of their research data before it goes public. Engage journal editors, peer-reviewers, and esteemed colleagues to enrich their datasets with insightful feedback and enhance their data's scholarly impact.

Features include the ability to:

  • Keep your dataset under embargo throughout the review process, protecting it from public access.
  • Easily grant selective access to your data by inviting reviewers, no FRDR accounts required.
  • Seamlessly send review invitations to esteemed peers directly from FRDR's user-friendly interface.
  • Preserve author anonymity with customizable anonymous review and metadata masking options.

To learn more about this feature, please refer to the FRDR documentation. If you have questions or feedback, feel free to contact support@frdr-dfdr.ca.
