About the workshop

AI, machine learning, data analysis…Have you heard these terms and wondered how they are connected? Are you feeling left out while your tech-savvy friends are engaging in conversations on these topics?

You don't need to worry anymore! This introduction to AI workshop will help you get a basic understanding of these concepts. We will also walk you through hands-on mini exercises so that you put the knowledge gained during the workshop to practice. 

For this workshop, we will be using Python. You don’t need to know Python in order to attend, but basic programming skills will be helpful. We will send you some intro materials that you can review in advance of the session.

Requirements

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of programming would be an asset (for example, familiarity with if/then statements, loops, & defining variables)
