Representing published scholars’ ideas accurately while skillfully using your own words to describe them is a key feature of successful academic writing – albeit a challenging one to master. Likewise, consistently summarizing and paraphrasing with integrity takes focus and practice. We welcome all graduate students, including international grads, graduate study newcomers, and even experienced grad writers to this workshop to discuss and learn more about various forms of plagiarism so that you are better equipped to avoid such missteps in your own work.
