To maintain a safe and welcoming environment in library spaces, patrons are expected to move about library spaces without disturbing others or damaging library materials, equipment, or facilities.
SFU Policy AD1.03 prohibits the use of motorized (e.g. e-bikes, e-scooters) and non-motorized vehicles (e.g. scooters, bicycles, skateboards, roller skates) inside buildings, including libraries, and other designated spaces on campuses.
Bicycles are not permitted in the library, even if the bikes are parked. Please visit the Cycling section of SFU's Parking and Sustainable Mobility page for maps and information about where one can securely park their bicycle when visiting the library.
Mobility aids and assistive devices or vehicles specifically designed to support a person's movement are permitted and welcome in the library spaces.
