Where and how can I access Adobe products at the SFU Library?

Acrobat Reader

Adobe Acrobat Reader is installed on all Library computers, for viewing, printing, and sharing PDFs.

About Acrobat Creative Cloud (Creative Suite)

The Adobe Acrobat Creative Cloud includes programs such as Acrobat Pro, as well as InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop. For a complete list of the applications that are included, see Adobe (SFU IT Services).

IMPORTANT: Getting started with Adobe Creative Cloud

Note that you will need to set up an Adobe account before you can use Creative Cloud products in the Library or in other SFU computer labs.

Once you register, it may take several hours before your account is ready.

Library access to Acrobat Creative Cloud products

You can find workstations with installed Creative Cloud software in the SFU Library, and on Library laptops that you can borrow.

  • Belzberg Library, main floor northwest corner: 2 computers labelled "Adobe CC"
  • For graduate students and post-docs:

Library laptops to borrow (Bennett and Fraser)

Some laptops at the Bennett (SFU Burnaby) and Fraser (SFU Surrey) libraries are loaded with Adobe Creative Cloud, and may be borrowed.

  • To borrow one, ask for an Adobe Creative Cloud laptop at the counter where you would usually borrow a laptop (look for the Service and Equipment or Loans desk).
  • You can borrow a laptop for up to four hours. For more about borrowing periods, laptop details, and laptop borrowing policies, see Laptops and equipment borrowing.

Accessing Creative Cloud from other SFU computer labs
