Access to DSP publications is available through the SFU Library catalogue or online through their site.

Documents on this site were originally prepared for general distribution to Canadian Parliamentarians to provide background and analysis of issues that may arise in the course of their Parliamentary duties. Documents reference here are also available in PDF via Government of Canada Publications (see entry above). This site, while it remains, organizes the content by type which may be useful to researchers: They include Current Issue Reviews, Backgrounders, Legislative Summaries and Mini Reviews.

Government of Canada Web Archive
Library and Archives Canada (LAC) has implemented this first significant Canadian Web archive through the use of open source tools, developed by the International Internet Preservation Consortium. The goal of this organization is to collect, preserve and ensure long-term access to Internet content from around the world through the collaborative development of common tools and techniques for developing Web archives.

LEGISinfo: 37th Parliament (2001) - Current
Provides information regarding legislation before Parliament. View recently introduced bills in the Senate or House of Commons including:

  • The bill's life cycle from the day it was introduced for first reading until it receives royal assent
  • Links to the relevant content in official parliamentary publications associated with the passage of a bill

University of Toronto Government Publications Digitization Collection
Collection of government documents that have been digitized as part of the University of Toronto’s project to fully digitize its holdings of Canadian federal and Ontario provincial government publications. At this time, these documents are best searched using a full-text search. Additional descriptive metadata work is ongoing.
