Ask a Librarian by Email

An email reference service for the SFU community

As some services are restricted to SFU students, faculty and staff, we may be limited in the form of assistance we can provide to those outside the SFU community.

To ask us a question by email, use the form below, or send a message to libask@sfu.ca.

Coverage and response times

  • After we receive your email, we will respond within one business day.
  • During Fall and Winter semesters, we read messages seven days a week. During Summer semester and semester breaks, we check emails Monday to Friday.
  • We do not monitor this email service on holidays or when the University is closed.
