About Grad Conversations

Grad Conversations are casual, themed conversations where SFU graduate students and selected guests are invited to discuss important topics central to being a graduate student at SFU. No presentations and no Power Points—just space for dialogue and open discussion.

Attend Grad Conversations and connect with other grad students, ask questions, learn more about a topic, and share your experiences, feedback, and ideas.

They are hybrid events. You have the option to attend in-person in the Research Commons in Bennett Library, or online via Zoom. We do not record these events.

Grad Conversations are proudly hosted by Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies and SFU Library's Research Commons.

If you require any accommodations in order to fully access and participate, please contact us directly at research-commons@sfu.ca. All communication will be kept confidential. Please contact us as early as possible as some accommodations will require lead time to arrange (i.e. CART, ASL).

Have a suggestion for a Grad Conversation topic? Let us know at research-commons@sfu.ca. We love to hear from you.
