Have you ever thought about what you might learn from orcs?
Come celebrate the end of summer term with a fun and thought-provoking workshop on creating collaborative narratives and storyworlds. This hands-on workshop will include a facilitated role-playing game (Dungeons & Dragons). This will be followed by a debrief discussion, based on your experiences in the game, about teamwork, storytelling, and anti-competitive learning spaces.
Everyone is welcome! No role-playing experience necessary. Pizza will be provided.
Workshop led by:
Kari Gustafson, a recent PhD graduate from SFU’s faculty of education. More importantly, they are an enthusiastic role-player and gamemaster (lead storyteller).
