Research help

You can contact Moninder Lalli, Librarian for Sociology / Anthropology () for assistance via email or by making an appointment.  Assistance is also available via Ask a librarian.

This guide will provide assistance with finding scholarly material to support the research paper assignment.

Do a search for your topic in the recommended databases (below) and by using SFU Library's "Catalogue Search."  An example search on "ecotourism" has been done in two databases and in Catalogue Search.

Sections on "government information" will assist with providing statistics and other reports.

See the side tab, "Citing & Writing" to obtain guides on using APA, MLA or other styles, as well as links to using the software such as Zotero to manage your bibliographies.

The guide, How to write an annotated bibliography may also be helpful.
