Alliance for Arts and Culture: Represents the interests of artists across the disciplines in BC Access to professional development and employment opportunities.
Canadian Alliance of Dancers/ West chapter (CADA/West): Non-profit organization for dance artists in Canada that works to raise professional standards in dance. Offers a variety of programs, outreach and resources.
Canadian Dance Assembly: National arts organization dedicated to serving the professional dance community in Canada.
CORD (Congress on Research in Dance): Provides opportunities for dance professionals to exchange ideas and resources through publications, conferences, and workshops.
The Dance Centre: Primary resource centre for the dance profession in British Columbia. Maintains a directory of internet resources on all aspects of dance.
Dance Films Association: Promotes excellence in dance on camera through its annual Dance on Camera Festival, publications, grants, and workshops. Maintains a list of dance film distributors and links to dance film festivals.
Society for Canadian Dance Studies: Encourages and promotes research and writing, and provides a forum for the discussion of issues and topics surrounding Canadian dance studies.

Government information

British Columbia Arts Council: Provides support for arts and culture in BC through public education, research and advocacy. Awards funds to organizations and individuals.
The Canada Council for the Arts: Awards grants for the creation, production and dissemination of works of dance. Funds the operating activities of professional organizations, artists' travel and professional development, tours, festivals and related events and initiatives. Maintains a performing arts directory with information on presenters, festivals and contacts.
