In my last post, I listed some resources to help this semester's BUS 441 students be effective in planning and measuring marketing campaigns conducted via WordPress sites, Facebook, and Google AdWords.

I hear that our BUS 441 students are embarking on a project that will have them designing marketing campaigns using WordPress websites, FaceBook ads, and Google AdWords, all while gathering data and adjusting their campaigns.
I'm sure the instructor will be providing detailed readings and guidance, but I thought I'd highlight a few of the other resources that might prove useful for such activities.
If nothing else, this list might be helpful for other SFU researchers interested in similar topics.
Forwarding this notice for all the business/economics instructors this term...
The SFU Library’s popular Plagiarism Tutorial and Library Research Skills Tutorial are available as modules for import into any Canvas course from Canvas Commons.
We've hit that magical time of year when semester-loan items borrowed last year from the SFU Library need to be returned or renewed!
If you borrowed or renewed a semester-loan item between July 31, 2015 and November 30, 2015, it is due next Monday (January 11, 2016). Fines and suspensions can be avoided by returning and/or renewing books before that date.
Does your research require access to data on FDI (foreign direct investment) inflows, outflows, positions, and stock? Maybe also to FDI regulations, policies, and major players? Then start with our (just-updated) BUS 431 course guide!
Here we are, just four days into the new year, yet, through the magic of publishers forward dating their new titles, your wonderful SFU Library already has over 1500 books, ebooks, films, etc. with 2016 as the copyright year!
How's this for a New Year's resolution? The SFU Library is kicking off 2016 with a major reorganization!
Our overall goal is to realign our people and responsibilities in order to meet emerging researcher needs. From a Business/Economics perspective, this restructuring will result in some significant changes around who to contact if you need assistance.
