My apologies for the last-minute notice on this one... I've just heard about a webinar that may be of interest to students and faculty in accounting and finance.  

This Wednesday (April 12, 2017), from 2:30-3:30 Pacific time, Professor Aswath Damodaran from NYU Stern will discuss his new book on valuation “Narrative and Numbers: The Value of Stories in Business” and answer questions.

I'm often amazed at the many topics that fit under the broad umbrella of economics. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised -- after all, anything that involves means & ends, desires & decisions, or creation & consumption has an economics perspective.

New! Handbooks of behavioral economics, social & sustainable finance, and entrepreneurship

Need an overview of a research area that provides more breadth and depth than a typical article or website?  That's when a handbook comes in handy... and we've got some great ones for you!

I've mentioned the value of handbooks before (see A companion for your journey into a new research area...), so I'll keep this post short by highlighting a few of the most recent Bus/Econ handbooks added to our collection.
