The Graduate Student Society Open Access Award acknowledges graduate students who have published work in gold open access journals. Our aim is to increase the visibility and prestige of such publications and support the open access movement’s ability to effectively disseminate research findings. The GSS OA Award is jointly administered by the GSS and the SFU Library. Furthermore, the Office of the Vice-President, Research, the Office of the Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, and the Publishing program have generously contributed to increase the number of awarded students. Thus, we are happy to announce that the OAA will consist of up to 35 awards at $100 each.
Applications will be accepted until November 30, 2018.
