Join us for a talk by Lytle Shaw on "The Strategic Idea of North"

SpokenWeb, along with SFU Library and the Digital Humanities Innovation Lab, invite you to an upcoming talk by Lytle Shaw on “The Strategic Idea of North.” Shaw will explore the importance of sound to the construction of Canadian space, especially the North, through an examination of the work of R. Murray Schafer and Glenn Gould, along with the practice bombing raids of Sergeant Leroi Jones. Please find the full abstract and poster attached.
