TOEFL and IELTS, two of the standardized language tests, are offered in many countries of the world, including Canada. Information about the tests, test locations, where and how to register, and preparation materials is available on the TOEFL and IELTS websites.
The SFU Library has a large number of print and electronic books and guides for practicing and preparing for the tests. Use the keyword TOEFL (or IELTS) to find them in the Library Catalogue. Instead of keywords, you can also use the Subject field to enter: 'Test of English as a foreign language -- Study guides', or 'International English Language Testing System'.
Visit the Student Learning Commons (SLC) to make an appointment for writing or learning skills help, or to register for one or more of the popular SLC workshops.
