Study at the Bennett Library (Burnaby) -- starting September 14

During COVID-19, a place to study during the Fall semester

 About the study space

Open hours: 1 pm - 5 pm, Monday to Friday.

Equipment and facilities: Access to PCs, Macs, printers, scanners, copiers, tables and chairs with power.

Location: The main floor of the Bennett Library (no access to other floors) -- for details see the floorplan below. 

Access is available only to current members of the SFU community who present SFU identification, which can include your SFU ID, business card or other similar documentation. Family and friends of community members should not be on campus at this time. (FAQ)

 Requirements to keep everyone safe

  • wear a mask (FAQ)  
  • stay at least 6 feet (2 metres) apart
  • use hand sanitizer upon entry 
  • eat and drink outside
  • stay in the designated study area
  • stay home if you are ill
  • review and follow all the measures outlined in the Common Areas COVID-19 Safety Plan.

What services are available?

No in-person services are available in the study space, but the Library is offering many services online. For the latest information on online Library services, see Library service updates during COVID-19

Can I borrow books? 

There is no in-person access to the Library collections right now, but you can request books online and we'll get them to you. For details check the Borrowing and digital delivery section of Library service updates during COVID-19.
