What are reserves?

A collection of books, articles, reports, etc., assigned by faculty as required reading for specific courses.

Material is housed separately from the main collection and is available only for short loan periods (2, 4, or 24 hours or 3 days) as directed by the course instructor.

You can check out 9 reserve items at a time (3 of each format - media, photocopy and book).

Use the library's search tool to find items on reserve.

At SFU Burnaby's Bennett Library Required reading materials for specific courses are kept in the Reserves area.

Reserves are kept in several locations near the Reference Desk at the Belzberg Library (SFU Vancouver) and at the Fraser Library (SFU Surrey).
