Semester-off privileges for undergrads at the SFU Library

I went to request semester-off privileges at the Belzberg Library after being directed there by your FAQ page only to discover that such privileges apparently no longer exist. This was extremely disheartening to learn. When I finally have the time to indulge in leisure reading, the library has seen fit to close its doors to me. Why have semester-off privileges for undergraduates been removed?
A. The semester-off option had been removed because of the need to review the policy. This review has now taken place and as of today this option has been re-instated for Undergraduates. We have changed your expiry date to May 10, 2018. You will have full borrowing privileges for this semester. Please note the semester off option can be used for only one semester during your undergraduate career at SFU.
