Noise in the library

Q. Since the semester is moving towards the end, many students myself included, are cramming into the library for study sessions. Unfortunately, the unbearable construction noise is making it impossible to focus on studies.  This message is coming from a place of deep concern. Library should always be a place where one could study soundly.  Please take some action towards it.

A. My apology for the unbearable noise that you have had to endure during construction in the library. The contractor was provided guidelines that permitted noisy work to be done only when the library was closed. Unfortunately they did not adhere to the guidelines, and in doing so, have been asked to halt any work until after final exams are completed.  Again, my apology for the disruption this has caused to you and other students.
