Accessing SFU databases as a guest

Published by Dipa Barua

Q. I am a psychologist in the community and looking for access to databases. I'm wondering if you offer database access to non-students and non-alumni for a fee. If so, what would the fee be to get access?

A. Thank you for contacting the SFU Library. Unfortunately there is no option available for non-SFU library patrons to purchase remote access to the online databases. However, any member of the public can visit any of the three SFU libraries and obtain a guest login for the day. With that login you can access all of the databases from workstations within the library. Hopefully that option will be useful to you.
