Argumentative Essays: Templates to Strengthen your Writing: 2022-06-08

Welcome back! Student Learning Commons services are here for you -- both in-person and online.

Dates
Wednesday, June 8, 2022 - 7:30pm to 8:20pm
Location
via Zoom

This workshop is in the past and registrations are unavailable.

All times are Pacific Time Zone (Vancouver, BC, Canada).

Effective argumentation is a core requirement of many writing assignments across the disciplines. Yet it isn't always clear what an academic argument is or how you should write one. In this 50-minute session, you'll learn the particular rules governing academic argumentation. This workshop will also introduce a number of templates that you can use to clearly and effectively structure and defend your written arguments. This live session may be recorded for later use.

Not able to attend? Check out our list of workshop recordings also available at anytime online.

Most Student Learning Commons workshops, including workshop recordings viewed online, are eligible for inclusion on your Co-Curricular Record. To receive Co-Curricular credits, fill out the CCR Reflection Form.

Note: Students cannot receive Co-Curricular (CCR) credits for a workshop if the workshop is already being used to receive academic credit in a course.
