Help your fellow students at the Student Learning Commons

Do you want to help your fellow students and get involved in the SFU community? Looking for teaching, client service or writing-related experience?  The Writing and Learning Peer Education Program and the English as an Additional Language (EAL) Peer Education Program are currently seeking students to start in Fall 2019.  

Network with friendly professionals and meet like-minded students.  We provide a private student lounge with a microwave, fridges, computers, and printing privileges. 

Past Peers have told us that this experienced helped them land Co-Op positions and make their next career moves in a variety of fields - not just teaching!

The Writing and Learning Peer Education Program also gives you an opportunity to earn internationally-recognized tutoring credentials through the College Reading and Learning Association.

Applications are open, on a first come, first served basis, until July 7.  Apply early to secure your choice of program. For further information:

(If accepted to both programs, you can choose between them or choose to do a joint program which would involve a 7-hour per week commitment.)
