
New for Fall 2024! The Student Learning Commons (SLC) is expanding at the Vancouver campus to better support students and collaborate with faculty. Whether you need help with academic writing, study strategies, or English language skills, we're here to assist!
Drop-in writing support for students
When: Mondays and Fridays, 1 pm to 4 pm, until the end of fall exam period
Where: Yosef Wosk Student Learning Commons (HC 1002) inside Belzberg Library, Harbour Centre, SFU Vancouver campus

At the Student Learning Commons in Belzberg Library, students can:
- Study individually or in groups
- Receive 1-on-1 help with academic writing
- Access tips and resources for study skills, learning strategies, English language support, and more
Opportunities for faculty collaboration
We're also excited to partner with faculty at Vancouver campus to enhance academic writing and learning support for your students. We can:
- Collaborate with you to deliver workshops on academic writing and learning strategies
- Develop customized sessions to meet the specific needs of your classroom
- Arrange special blocks of writing consultations outside of our regular drop-in hours, tailored to your course deadlines or specific assignments
