Welcome back! Student Learning Commons services are here for you this Fall -- both in-person and online.

Dates
Thursday, September 9, 2021 - 2:30pm to 3:20pm
Location
Burnaby, Bennett Library, Rm 3008

This workshop is in the past and registrations are unavailable.

All times are Pacific Time Zone (Vancouver, BC, Canada).

Do you have the best of intentions when it comes to studying, but find yourself cramming for your tests, and rushing to get your assignments done on time? Or, are you new to SFU, and want to learn time management strategies to help you manage your academic course load? This workshop will walk you through six steps to effective time management: Reflect, Prioritize, Plan ahead (with systems), Manage large projects, (Mostly) Stick to your plans, and Sleep. No matter what year you are in, you will learn tools and strategies to make you more effective in your studies. The live session may be recorded for later use.

Not able to attend? Check out our list of workshop recordings also available at anytime online.

Most Student Learning Commons workshops, including workshop recordings viewed online, are eligible for inclusion on your Co-Curricular Record. To receive Co-Curricular credits, fill out the CCR Reflection Form.

Note: Students cannot receive Co-Curricular (CCR) credits for a workshop if the workshop is already being used to receive academic credit in a course.
