Bunting and balloons celebrating the opening of the Research Commons at Vancouver.
SFU Library and SFU's Vancouver campus are thrilled to announce the opening of a new Research Commons in Harbour Centre!

Opening on August 23, 2021, this new flexible, technology-enabled space expands services for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty at the Vancouver campus.

What is the Research Commons?

SFU Library’s Research Commons provides services and support to graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty at all stages of the research process across all three SFU campuses. We foster an empowered and transformative research culture at SFU that is collaborative, creative, and cross-disciplinary.

The new Research Commons at the Vancouver campus will join our popular, well-used Research Commons space in Bennett Library on Burnaby campus. The space will anchor and expand many of the Library’s specialized programs and services for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty at SFU's Vancouver campus.

Research Commons services will continue to be available to graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty across all three campuses.
