Let's talk Open Access + Open Data

SFU Open Access policy

In January 2017, SFU Senate endorsed the Open Access Policy (OAP) acknowledging the commitment of SFU faculty, students, and postdoctoral fellows to share the products of their SFU research with the broadest possible audience.

Did you know SFU researchers can satisfy the policy in one easy step by providing an electronic copy of the finalized text of their published articles to the Simon Fraser University Library?

We also support data deposit. Last year, the Tri-Agencies issued their Statement of Principles on Digital Data Management and are reviewing and enhancing their data management requirements for agency-supported researchers.

The SFU Library has developed a suite of resources and services to support researchers in meeting agency expectations around open access publishing as well as research data management. Please join us in conversation and learn more about how the Library can support your open access and research data management activities. Bring your questions!
