Graduate students: Space and support for you is available downtown

Research Commons services at SFU Vancouver

Did you know that the Research Commons supports graduate students at all SFU campuses?  Visit Research Commons services at SFU Vancouver to find out about workshops, one-on-one consultations and quiet spaces to write downtown.

We'll help you format your thesis, improve your academic writing, use geospatial data and research analysis software and enhance your English pronunciation skills.

The Graduate Open Writing Lab happens every Friday from January 11 to April 5, 2019, 11:30 am - 2:30 pm in HC 7400 on the 7th floor of the Harbour Centre building.  It's a quiet space for graduate students to work on their writing or get advice from a graduate writing facilitator.

New for spring 2019!

We've added drop-in consultations for some of our Research Data Services this semester!

Data/GIS: Tuesdays, 1-4:30 pm, room HC 7027 (No consultations February 5 or 26)

R software support: Wednesdays, 2:30-5:30 pm, room HC 7027
