Workshops at Fraser Library (Surrey)

Library Instruction Information for Surrey Faculty

General Classes
Encourage your students to take advantage of the free drop-in general information literacy and library research skills workshops offered for researchers of all levels at the beginning of each semester.

Tailored Instruction
Contact your Liaison Librarian if you would like your students to benefit from an in-person or online library research class, web guide or online tutorial. In these course and assignment oriented presentations, librarians teach students to analyze their topics, develop effective search strategies and identify the best information resources. Each year, SFU faculty invite librarians to more than 400 classes reaching over 10,000 students. Liaison librarians also welcome the opportunity to work with faculty to help design assignments with a library research focus or component.
