Renewals
Note: Equipment renewals must be done in person or by phone. See Equipment loans page for more information.
The first 3 renewals can be done on-line or by phone. An unlimited number of renewals can be made in person (materials must be present).
How to Renew
Phone - Contact Circulation/Loans desk: 778.782.7411 (Surrey).
On-line - To renew your items on-line either:
1. Log in to the SFU Connect Email system and click on the MySFU tab. See Can I renew items, request items, and perform other activities without having to type in my SFU Library barcode? for instructions.
or
2. Select My Library Record/ renew books.

Select View Your Library record, renew books, etc.
Enter your last name and Library barcode number and click on the Submit button.

Select "items currently checked out" to view the items you have out on loan.

Select items to Renew and click on "Renew Selected Items" or choose the "Renew all" option. The new dates will display.
Returning Materials
Return most borrowed items at any SFU campus library. Surrey reserves and equipment MUST be returned to the Surrey Library.
After hour book return is accessible when the Central City mall is open. Book return is located beside the library entrance. Equipment must be returned to circulation counter. DO NOT return equipment to the book return.
Fines
Fines are charged on all overdue materials and range from $1 per day up to $3 per hour. Return items on time to avoid having to pay!
If you wish to dispute a fine, complete the SFU Library Appeal Form.
