ACCOLEDS (A COPPUL Consortium Of Library Electronic Data Services) is a consortium of Canadian Prairie, Pacific, and Maritime data libraries, which work in concert to provide access to data and data services in their institutions. Through COPPUL, ACCOLEDS members share a federation membership in the ICPSR.
IASSIST (International Organization for Social Science Information Service and Techonology) is an international organization dedicated to the issues and concerns of data librarians, data archivists, data producers, and data users. This unique professional association assists members in their support of social science research.
CAPDU (Canadian Association of Public Data Users) is a member of the Congress of the Social Sciences and Humanities. Its annual meeting occurs in conjunction with the Congress Conference three years out of four, the exception being when the IASSIST conference is held in Canada. Membership in CAPDU is open to users, distributors, and producers of data within Canada.
DLI The "Data Liberation Initiative"(DLI) provides Canadian academic institutions with affordable access to Statistics Canada data files and databases for teaching and research. The DLI is a co-operative effort among the Humanities and Social Science Federation of Canada (HSSFC), the Canadian Association of Research Libraries(CARL), the Canadian Association of Public Data Users (CAPDU), the Canadian Association of Small University Libraries (CASUL), Statistics Canada and other government departments.
